At-Home Learning
The Oshkosh Area School District (OASD) will be closed for students as of Monday, March 16, 2020 and until further notice. Beginning March 18, 2020, the OASD will be implementing At-Home Learning Days Monday through Friday.The following resource contains important information for students and families regarding OASD At-Home Learning Days. The information is organized by grade levels (PK-5 and 6-12).
At-Home Learning resources
Our school has access to a variety of eBooks (electronic books), digital audiobooks, and online magazines, that can be read on any device with an internet connection (including smartphones)! These eBooks and online magazines can be read and checked out all year long - at home and at school!
Read Digital Dress up Days
March 30-April 3
Dress up at home for digital learning. Teachers will be joining as well. Each day take a picture and send it to abigail.bertram@oshkosh.k12.wi.us in the subject please put the name of your teacher or post it on the Read School Facebook page put the classroom teachers name with it. I will make a collage of all of you and share it each day on the Read Facebook page. The class that has the most participating students will win. What will you win? Bragging rights and Ice cream. Mrs.Bertram will send everyone from the winning class a coupon for a free scoop of ice cream.
Chromebook Assistance

Positive Behaviors Interventions and Supports
Schools use PBIS as a framework to establish clear expectations and routines for students. Students are acknowledged for their expected, appropriate behavior. Using PBIS at home will help your child understand what is expected and maintain a sense of normalcy. Classroom Assignments for 2020-21 School Year
Requests DUE May 1
The Oshkosh Area School District Policy #434 provides parents the opportunity to fill out a request form for a specific classroom for consideration at the building level based on an educational need for your child. “Request for Specific Teacher or Class Assignment Forms” can be found on the district webpage using the following link: Request for Specific Teacher or Class Form. All request forms must be emailed to Jackie Morter, School Secretary, by Friday, May 1. A great deal of time and effort is put into creating balanced classrooms. All classroom requests will be reviewed; however, they may not be honored. Late forms will not be accepted.

Annual Online Registration for 2020-21 School Year
The OASD's required Annual Student Update (Enrollment) for Returning Students begins on April 1. New students and 4K students can enroll on March 30, 2020. The Annual enrollment for returning (existing) students is required and only by fully completing the enrollment process will a student’s place at school for the upcoming school year be assured.
